Who We Are:
Meet The Team
Attorney Holly Hurley counsels individuals and families through the complex but important process of estate planning. She is dedicated to helping her clients make the best legal decisions for themselves and their loved ones. By listening compassionately and serving her clients with knowledge, care, and professionalism, she empowers individuals and families to pass on more than just their assets.
After practicing litigation, including probate litigation, for many years, she realized that many estate plans done the old, traditional way, were failing. Often a result of improper planning, people's families were ending up in court and in conflict, fighting over the messy estates of their loved ones.
Ms. Hurley used this realization as motivation to provide a new type of comprehensive estate planning, and not just for the elderly and ultra-wealthy. She especially recognizes the importance of proper planning for families with young children, proper asset protection planning for professionals, and is passionate about educating her clients and community about the effects that an improper estate plan, or a lack of planning, can have on their families.
Ms. Hurley earned her juris doctor from Mississippi College School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and New York. In 2020, she was inducted into the Super Lawyers Rising Stars as a top-rated attorney, a distinction awarded to fewer than 2.5% of attorneys. Ms. Hurley is also one of only a few New York and Tennessee attorneys to have earned the designation of Personal Family Lawyer®️ by the Family Wealth Planning Institute.
Ms. Hurley established the Law Office of Holly B. Hurley, PLLC in Westchester County, New York, and serves clients throughout Westchester County and the greater New York City area.
Ms. Hurley is Of Counsel with The Hurley Law Firm, P.C. in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she assists the firm with their estate planning practice for clients throughout East Tennessee.
